The London Silverbacks of the North American Football League (NAFL) are looking for a QB looking to lead the team in its title defense. Last season we are proud to say THREE of our QB's signed AF2 contracts following the 2007 championship season.
The Silverbacks also have the proud distinction of being the minor-league affiliate to the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League and provide unique opportunities for young men to continue playing the game at a high level while still receiving the chance for quality exposure if looking to reach the next level.
We are looking for a QB who is ready to step in quickly as we are providing a great opportunity to play in our exhibition game in San Antonio, Texas May 31. Our regular season runs July through September with a championship the second week of November. Last years title game took place in Las Vegas and we expect another great event in 2008.
The Silverbacks are located in London, Ontario, Canada and play our home games at TD Waterhouse stadium on the University of Western Ontario campus. While we are officially amateur status to allow players the chance to maintain college eligibility we do offer the ability to help with accommodations and employment in a truly great city.
The NAFL is the worlds largest football league with approximately 140 teams playing American rules, outdoor, football and is entering its 10th season.
